What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraprofessional 1:1 position at Silver Lake Regional Middle School?
Silver Lake Regional Middle School is seeking a 1:1 paraprofessional at the beginning of the 26-27 school year. This position is based on student need and anticipated to be required for 2 years at the Middle School level.
Responsibilities include:
- supporting a student during their school day
- providing accommodations to a student on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- collaborating with regular education and Special Education teachers
- administering exams and other duties to be assigned by building administration.
- Other duties may be assigned by the Special Education Coordinator and/or building Principal.
Hours are 7:20am - 1:50pm Monday to Friday.
The hourly rate is between $18.28 - $22.38 based on experience. As a full time employee and member of the SL Para CBA, this is a benefits eligible position through Silver Lake including paid sick and personal days.
