The Sharon Public Schools is seeking a 1.0 LTS Special Education Teacher for students in the Pathways Program, Sharon High School.
The Pathways Program is an individualized learning program with the goal of providing age appropriate, functional and inclusive learning experiences in the classroom and community. Pathways is a substantially separate program with opportunities for inclusion throughout the day as appropriate based on the individual student.
Pathways is designed for students with moderate to severe disabilities requiring small group or one to one learning environments for most or all of their instruction, as well as access to curriculum modified from grade level standards.
The successful candidate for this position will have experience with students. Strong oral and written language skills as well as the ability to collaborate with colleagues and families is necessary.
This is a Long Term Substitute Position for a maternity leave.
DESE Licensure required.
