Position: Litigation Paralegal (Contract to Hire)
Location: Costa Mesa, CA (On-site)
Compensation: $36-$42/hour
Schedule: Contract/Full-time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
Position Overview:
Our client, a well-established law firm in Costa Mesa, is seeking a skilled and experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their on-site team in Costa Mesa, CA. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who excels in managing complex cases, supporting attorneys throughout the litigation lifecycle, and maintaining exceptional organization in a fast-paced environment.
Please note that this position is a contract to hire opportunity, and requires the selected candidates work onsite full-time, Monday through Friday in the firm’s office in Costa Mesa, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, analyze, and summarize case materials; prepare detailed reports for attorney review
- Conduct legal research, investigate facts, and assist with overall case development
- Draft and prepare litigation documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery responses
- File, track, and manage court documents to ensure accuracy and timely submission
- Maintain comprehensive case files, privilege logs, and document management systems
Qualifications:
- 5 years of litigation paralegal experience required
- Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
