Job Description:

Sikeston Convalescent Center is seeking dependable, compassionate, and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our nursing team. RNs provide quality nursing care, oversee resident health needs, support nursing staff, and help ensure residents receive safe, effective, and compassionate care.

Responsibilities:

Assess residents’ conditions and monitor for changes in health status.

Develop, implement, and update nursing care plans as appropriate.

Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.

Communicate changes in resident condition to physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team as appropriate.

Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure quality resident care.

Respond to emergencies and coordinate appropriate interventions.

Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Ensure compliance with facility policies, infection control practices, and applicable state and federal regulations.

Promote resident dignity, safety, comfort, and quality of life.

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support positive resident outcomes.

Qualifications:

Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri.

Strong clinical judgment, leadership, and communication skills.

Dependable, organized, and compassionate.

Ability to work effectively in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
