Job Description:
Sikeston Convalescent Center is seeking dependable, compassionate, and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our nursing team. LPNs play an important role in providing quality resident care, administering medications and treatments, and supporting the health, safety, and well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies.
Administer medications and treatments as ordered and document accurately.
Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the appropriate healthcare provider.
Complete nursing assessments and documentation within the scope of practice.
Supervise and support CNAs in providing quality resident care.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team.
Respond to emergencies and follow established facility protocols.
Promote resident dignity, comfort, safety, and quality of life.
Maintain compliance with infection control standards and applicable regulations.
Qualifications:
Current, unencumbered LPN license in Missouri.
Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
Dependable, professional, and compassionate.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a long-term care setting.
