Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide exceptional patient care across all shifts. Duties
- Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts.
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner.
- Support medical teams by preparing patients for procedures and assisting during treatments in settings such as ICU, emergency rooms, or surgical units.
- Maintain infection control standards through aseptic techniques and proper sanitation practices.
- Provide specialized care for patients with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or memory impairments in memory or behavioral health units.
- Administer medications and perform basic medical tasks under supervision while adhering to HIPAA regulations and medical terminology standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans for diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and individuals with disabilities.
- Utilize advanced skills such as phlebotomy or catheter care when required to support comprehensive patient service.
Requirements
- Valid CNA certification with current licensure in the applicable state or region.
- Experience working in various healthcare environments including hospitals (Level I Trauma Center or Level II Trauma Center), nursing homes, hospice care, or outpatient clinics.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, or similar platforms.
- Demonstrated knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control practices.
- Prior experience with critical care areas such as ICU or emergency medicine is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting with equipment like Hoyer lifts and providing patient mobility support.
- Strong communication skills combined with compassionate caregiving approach tailored to diverse patient needs.
