We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to serve as a Charge Nurse within our healthcare facility. Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision and leadership to nursing staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and facility protocols.
- Coordinate patient care activities.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations.
- Administer medications and injections accurately while following aseptic techniques and safety guidelines.
- Support infection control protocols and maintain sterile processing standards to prevent healthcare-associated infections.
- Assist with discharge planning, patient education, and coordination with case management teams for post-acute care or hospice services.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care tailored to diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, patients with developmental disabilities or memory care needs.
Experience
- Valid RN licensure with current registration in the relevant jurisdiction; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.
- Clinical experience across various nursing disciplines including critical care medicine, infectious disease care, pain management, behavioral health, and geriatrics.
- Experience working with diverse patient populations including those requiring long-term care, assisted living support, hospice & palliative medicine services.
- Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations such as laboratory specimen collection/processing; competency in medical terminology and physiology knowledge essential for accurate assessments.
