What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Associate -All Shifts position at ISCO - SALEM MILL?
Salem Wood Products, a subsidiary of Independent Stave Company, is now hiring full-time positions for all shifts. We have a variety of manufacturing positions and general labor roles available on both shifts. Starting pay is $17 - $20 per hour, depending on the shift. If you are a highly motivated and self-driven individual, you will perform a variety of tasks in the processing of white oak staves used in the manufacturing of white oak barrels for the wine and spirits industry. We provide competitive pay and benefits, including piece-rate or production-based pay opportunities.
Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour to start. Hourly raises are available after 30 days.
Day-Shift Schedule (6:30 am - 5:00 pm), Monday - Thursday
Night-Shift Schedule (6:30 pm - 5:00 am), Monday - Thursday
Essential Job Functions for a Production Associate
- Keep up with fast-paced workplace and production speeds
- Follow all company safety and quality requirements
- Work cooperatively with other employees and supervisors
- Regular and consistent attendance
- Ability to work in various body positions; bending, stooping, standing, and the ability to have coordinated pulling, pushing, grasping, reaching, and bilateral arm movements
