Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and extensible systems for post-trade processing, cash management, and financing operations.
- Collaborate with functional stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and software solutions.
- Propose architecture and system design ideas to support evolving business and technical goals.
- Own and deliver high-impact engineering solutions, with a focus on automation, transparency, and resilience.
- Follow and contribute to the team’s engineering best practices and software development lifecycle.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 1 year of relevant software engineering experience; 2 years preferred.
- Proficiency in Java is required; familiarity with Python (especially with Pandas) is a strong plus.
- Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- Experience developing and maintaining systems that handle high data volume and complex processing.
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and demonstrating ownership over business-critical systems.
- Prior experience in financial services or trading platforms is beneficial, but not required.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated interest in infrastructure, backend systems, or financial technology.
- Passion for building high-performance systems that interact with complex data workflows.
- A proactive, collaborative team player who enjoys working across disciplines.
