Account Coordinator

Project Manager | Signarama Troy

Signarama Troy is the largest Signarama location in the world. We design, build, and install signs for businesses across Metro Detroit, and we’re looking for a Project Manager to own our jobs from the moment they’re sold to the day the sign goes up.

This is the role that keeps everything moving. Our sales team closes the deal and hands it to you. From there, you’re the client’s go-to contact. You build the timeline, get permits through the city, line up production and installation, and make sure the client knows where things stand at every step. What You’ll Do

Job Management

• Take ownership of every job from sales handoff through final installation
• Build project timelines and keep them moving across design, permitting, production, and installation
• Hand off complete specs and approved artwork to our production team
• Coordinate with vendors on materials and outside services, including purchase orders and shipment tracking
• Keep accurate job records and communication logs in our project management system
• Spot at-risk jobs early and fix bottlenecks before they turn into delays

Sales Team Support

• Serve as the operational partner to our outside sales reps, taking coordination and admin work off their plate
• Prepare quotes, job packets, and production summaries as needed
• Keep the sales team informed on production timelines and capacity

Client Communication

• Act as the client’s main point of contact once a job is sold
• Send regular status updates, manage proof approvals, and confirm schedules
• Escalate client concerns quickly to the right person
• Follow up after installation to make sure every client is happy with the finished job

Installation Coordination

• Manage permitting with cities and municipalities, including landlord approvals and required documentation
• Work with our Installation Manager to schedule installs and confirm dates with clients
• Confirm materials, components, and permits are ready before crews are scheduled

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in project management, account management, or another coordination-heavy role. Sign, construction, or trades experience is a big plus.
• Strong organization and the ability to juggle multiple active jobs at once
• Clear, confident communication by phone and in writing with clients, vendors, and the internal team
• A real sense of ownership. You follow through without anyone chasing you.
• Comfort with firm deadlines and a fast-paced shop
• Experience with CRM or project tracking tools. We’ll train you on our systems.
