What you’ll do
- Lead Finance Across Two Companies: Oversee AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, compliance, and consolidated reporting.
- Strategic FP&A: Drive forecasting, cash flow modeling, scenario planning, and budget variance analysis.
- Metrics & Reporting: Own SaaS KPIs (MRR, ARR, churn, CAC/LTV) alongside traditional business metrics for the sister company.
- Leadership Partnership: Advise the CEO and executive team on financial strategy, resource allocation, and fundraising prep.
- Scale Operations: Implement and improve systems, processes, and controls that support rapid growth.
- Team Development: Provide mentorship to junior accounting/finance staff and build a scalable function.
- 5–8 years of progressive finance/accounting experience, ideally with SaaS exposure.
- Strong FP&A and reporting skills; expert in Excel, modeling, and accounting systems.
- Comfortable managing finances across multiple entities.
- Balance of detail-orientation and big-picture strategy.
- Hungry, humble, and ready to build in a fast-scaling environment.
- Deliver the first consolidated reporting package across both entities.
- Build a rolling 12-month forecast with multiple cash flow scenarios.
- Identify automation/process improvements that save time or reduce errors.
- Present findings and roadmap directly to leadership.
- SaaS or high-growth company experience.
- Exposure to venture-backed reporting.
- Prior leadership of small finance teams.
- High-impact ownership: You’ll run finance for two scaling companies.
- Executive visibility: Direct input into strategy and decision-making.
