Sigmatech is seeking highly motivated candidates to fill a Financial Management position in support of Space Operation's Command (SpOC) at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado. In this position, the contractor will be responsible for a variety of budgetary functions involving formulation, execution, analysis, and accounting. As the Financial Manager, the contractor will also accomplish economic and cost analysis studies for both assigned space programs as well as their associated support activities. Specific duties for this position include:
10 years working DoD current-year Financial Management.
Proven familiarity with FM systems (e.g., DEAMS, CCaR, EFR, WAWF, DTS, MOCAS, IRAPT, Power BI) preferred.
B.S. desired (M.S. in related field preferred).
Previous work with Special Access Programs and/or USSF Space operations, acquisitions, and/or operations.
Experienced in Microsoft Suite of applications.
In compliance with Colorados Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $100,000 to $150,000; however, Sigmatech considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, experience, education/training, key skills, location and often contractual requirements.

As the Financial Manager, the contractor will also accomplish economic and cost analysis studies for both assigned space programs as well as their associated support activities. - Development of Annual and multi-year budget estimates
- Assisting the government in preparing, revising, and monitoring budget execution plans
- Researching, compiling, and summarizing data involving obligations, expenses, narrative information, and quantitative budgetary data for use in preparing budget estimates
- Reviewing organizational historic data to determine trends in spending and forcast annual funding needs
- Disseminating guidance received from Air Force and Space Force Staff to SpOC leadership and action officers in support of annual budget estimates and financial plans
- Preparing the: Annual Execution/Spend Plan; Annual Continuing Resolution Authority Spend Plan; Recurring Funds Distribution Authorization Requests; other documents and reports covering the status of funds, expenses, and obligations
- Retrieving, reviewing, and preparing Selective Transaction History, Open Document Listing, and Funds Execution Report
- Preparing the Spend Plan Variance Report; Defense Travel Service reports
- Preparing and presenting the Monthly Activity Brief
- Preparing, coordinating, and briefing the Spring and Summer Execution Reviews
- Accomplishing Year-end Closeout and the Annual Managers Internal Control Plan
- Providing guidance to field units on initiation, commitment, and obligation game plans for program execution
