IT Desktop Support Specialist
12 month Contract

Onsite, Monday - Friday, 8-5pm ET
A global enterprise organization is seeking an IT Support / Desktop Support professional to join its onsite technology team supporting approximately 1,500 users across North America.
This is a highly visible, hands-on role focused on Tier 1 end-user support, device deployments, Windows 11 upgrades, and day-to-day technical troubleshooting within a fast-paced corporate environment. The position is based onsite in the Pittsburgh area, 5 days per week.
Responsibilities:
• Provide onsite technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and conferencing technology
• Support Windows 11, PC refresh projects, and new hardware deployments
• Image, configure, deploy, and ship computers and mobile devices
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and Microsoft environment issues
• Respond to support requests through tickets, phone calls, walk-ups, and executive support needs
• Assist with conference room setups, video meetings, and guest connectivity
• Maintain IT inventory, hardware lifecycle tracking, and equipment replacements
• Escalate complex technical issues when appropriate while maintaining strong customer communication
Desired Background:
• Previous Help Desk, Desktop Support, or IT Support experience in a corporate environment (Enterprise Experience a Must Have)
• Strong customer-facing communication skills and professionalism
• Experience supporting Windows 11, Microsoft 365/O365, laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
• Familiarity with Active Directory, device imaging, and endpoint support
• Exposure to ticketing systems, SLA-driven support environments, and ITIL practices preferred
• Basic understanding of enterprise networking concepts (LAN/WAN, connectivity troubleshooting)
• Comfortable working onsite full-time in a collaborative enterprise environment
