What You'll Do
- Lead & Develop: Mentor and manage a diverse engineering team, fostering growth and accountability
- Drive Standards: Build engineering processes and standards from the ground up—we're in growth mode and need your vision
- Own Quality: Improve on-time delivery and accuracy to 95-100% in quoting and submittal phases
- Juggle Complexity: Manage 10-15 simultaneous projects in various phases (submittal, design, quoting)
- Be Technical: Stay hands-on with mechanical design—this role blends leadership with engineering excellence
Who You Are
- Proven Manager: Direct people management experience—not just a lead, but someone who's hired, developed, and held teams accountable
- Mechanical Mindset: Strong mechanical design background; controls experience is a plus
- Personable Leader: You build relationships across teams and with customers. Your sales reps are your internal clients
- Process-Oriented: You see chaos and build systems. You thrive in early-stage growth environments
- PE License: Preferred but not required
