About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with recent long-term care experience for a 13-week contract assignment in Hilo, Hawaii. The ideal candidate will provide quality nursing care to residents while supporting daily clinical and facility operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform resident assessments and administer medications and treatments.
• Notify physicians or nurse practitioners of significant changes in residents’ conditions.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Provide gastrostomy tube, urinary catheter, nebulizer, wound VAC, and CPAP care.
• Complete other nursing duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Active or eligible Hawaii LPN license; license required upon acceptance.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
• Long-term care (LTC) experience required.
• Ability to work variable shifts based on facility census and staffing needs.
• Willingness to work holidays as required.
• Proof of flu vaccination or a facility-approved medical or religious exemption before the contract start date.
