We're looking for a Direct Support Professional to join our passionate and growing team at our Adult Day Service in Austintown. In this rewarding role, you'll be a true champion for people with developmental disabilities, helping them achieve their personal goals and live their best lives. What You'll Do
You'll be a key part of our mission to create a vibrant and inclusive community. Your day could include:
- Empowering Independence: You'll help individuals build essential life skills, from mastering daily routines to navigating the community with confidence.
- Creating Connections: You'll schedule and accompany people on exciting community outings, from exploring local parks to attending social events. You'll be the bridge that connects them to the world around them.
- Celebrating Achievements: You'll support individuals in reaching their unique goals, whether it's learning a new skill, finding a hobby, or simply enjoying a day out. Every step forward is a victory to be celebrated
- Being a Role Model: You'll provide a positive and respectful presence, helping to guide and support individuals in their social interactions and personal growth.
The Details
- Schedule: Full-time or Part-time shifts available. Day Service operates Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Requirements: A high school diploma or GED is required. You must have a valid driver's license and pass a background check. Candidates who are willing to obtain a DOT certification are preferred. While experience is a plus, we welcome candidates with a passion for helping others and a willingness to learn.
