We're looking for a Transportation Professional to join our dedicated team. This isn't just a driving job; you'll be a vital link, providing safe and essential transportation for individuals with developmental disabilities. You'll help them get to their jobs, day programs, and community activities, making a real difference in their lives every single day.
This position is based out of our Canton location.
What You'll Do
- Drive with Purpose: Safely transport individuals to and from their daily activities, ensuring they get where they need to go on time.
- Be a Helping Hand: Assist with getting people in and out of the vehicle, securing wheelchairs, and ensuring everyone is safely buckled up.
- Connect and Communicate: You'll be the friendly face and a trusted presence, communicating any needs or concerns to our team to ensure the best care.
- Promote a Positive Experience: You'll help maintain a positive and respectful environment, ensuring every trip is comfortable and pleasant.
Qualifications:
The Details
- Qualifications: A high school diploma or GED is required. You must have a strong driving record, pass a DOT physical, and be willing to drive a DOT vehicle.
- Ready to Roll: You must be able to pass a DOT physical, a drug and alcohol test, and a background check.
- Physical Requirements: The role requires the ability to lift to 50 pounds, bend, twist, and assist with pushing wheelchairs.
- Schedule: Your schedule will be assigned by your supervisor and may vary to meet the needs of the individuals we serve.
