What are the responsibilities and job description for the Disability Services Job Trainer position at Creative Rehab?
Creative Rehab is currently seeking Job Trainers to assist with our Summer Youth Work Program in various locations throughout Stark and Tuscarawas counties. Job Trainers for the summer program are responsible for educating a small group of students (2 or 3) on basic work skills, attending scheduled student work sessions within the community, and evaluating job readiness and skill level.
Tasks include orienting students to the work site, assisting in the training process, providing support, communicating with work site supervisors and trainers, assessing student progress, and documenting activity and progress.
Your choice of working either 5 or 10 weeks. Program dates are June 1 - July 3, and/or July 6 - Aug 7. Additional opportunities for other work assignments are also possibly available for year-round work, if interested.
Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Valid Ohio driver’s license, with positive driving record
- Willingness to provide transportation of student(s) to worksite, as needed
- Pass FBI/BCI background check
- Basic computer skills
- Must be available for entire 5 week program
