What are the responsibilities and job description for the HEOP Office Assistant - Siena University position at Siena College?
This role provides administrative support to the HEOP office and serves and the first point of contact for all students, faculty and administrators visiting the office.
- Greet and welcome visitors to the office.
- Answer phone calls and direct callers to the appropriate person as needed.
- Secure space on camps for special events and manage all catering orders.
- Manage the purchase order process within the Unimarket system.
- Maintain record of student stipends and submit stipend payment requests.
- Maintain record of budget transactions in Excel.
- Schedule student interviews and using an automated system and Google calendar.
- Provide administrative support for the summer program.
- Assign office tasks to work study students.
- Complete other administrative tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 1 year of administrative office support experience
- Proficiency with MS Office, including Word and Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree
- Experience working with diverse student population
Additional Information:
Pay Rate: $17.74 per hour
