Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Procurement Specialist based in Gibsonton, FL. The Procurement Specialist will manage procurement activities, including the preparation and processing of purchase orders, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiation. Responsibilities also include conducting market research, ensuring cost-effective procurement processes, and maintaining strong supplier relationships. The position requires collaboration with various teams to align procurement goals with organizational objectives.
Qualifications
- Experience in preparing and managing Purchase Orders for direct and indirect material
- Proficiency in Supplier Evaluation and Contract Negotiation
- Strong knowledge in SAP (MM), Hana S4 and ARIBA
- Strong Analytical Skills for data analysis and decision-making
- Solid background in Procurement and supply chain management
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, on-site environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred
- Experience in the energy or manufacturing industry is a plus
