The Valet Attendant is the essential first and last point of contact for our guests, creating a seamless and welcoming experience from arrival to departure. As a Valet Attendant, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently parking guests’ vehicles while delivering exceptional customer service that exceeds expectations. You will work closely with the parking operations team and management to ensure smooth valet service in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is professional, personable, proactive, and skilled at multitasking with a focus on guest satisfaction and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests promptly with a sincere, friendly, and professional demeanor
- Anticipate guests’ needs and promptly address any concerns, problems, or special requests
- Assist guests with disabilities with courtesy and care
- Safely operate, park, and retrieve guest vehicles in designated valet parking areas, including manual transmission vehicles
- Adhere strictly to company procedures, safety policies, and traffic regulations
- Maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance and wear the uniform correctly at all times
- Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and management to ensure smooth operations
- Handle guest vehicles responsibly, ensuring their security and safe return
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- Maintain a clean driving record for at least 3 years (DMV report required)
- Ability to safely operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Physically agile, capable of standing and walking for extended periods in all weather conditions
- Able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Team-oriented mindset with excellent interpersonal skills
- Pass mandatory drug screening and background check.
- Must have Alcohol Awareness Card
