Construction Inspectors with NYSDOT Experience

We employ highly skilled and dedicated personnel who provide quality engineering services. Currently we are seeking experienced Construction Inspectors NICET Level II and III for NYSDOT projects.

Duties

• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
• Perform construction inspection
• Ensure contractor’s compliance with project WZTC (or MPT) requirements
• Prepare Inspector’s daily work reports using Site Manager Software
• Communicate with supervisors to keep them aware of field issues
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years of bridge/highway construction inspection experience on NYSDOT projects
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with EIT certification preferred
• NICET II, NICET III and NICET IV Certification or Equivalent
• ACI Field Technician Level 1 and Traffic Control certifications a plus
• OSHA 10-hour training certification
• NYSDOT Site Manager Experience Required
• Computer Literate and good writing and communication skills
• Positive attitude, good work ethic and willingness to learn
• Willingness to work night shift and irregular hours
• Must have NYSDOT driver’s License and personal vehicle to commute to work
