Sales Analyst
The Sales Analyst is responsible for analyzing sales performance data, generating actionable insights, and supporting strategic decision-making across the sales organization. This role collaborates closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to optimize revenue growth and improve sales effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting
Collect, clean, and analyze sales data from CRM, ERP, and other internal systems.
Develop and maintain sales dashboards and reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities in sales performance.
Provide insights on customers, products, markets, and channels.
Forecasting & Planning
Support sales forecasting and pipeline analysis using historical data and predictive methods.
Assist in territory planning, quota setting, and performance tracking.
Partner with Sales Managers to evaluate target achievement and resource allocation.
Business Insights & Recommendations
Conduct deep-dive analyses on pricing, discounting, win/loss patterns, and customer behavior.
Recommend strategies to improve conversion rates, sales cycle efficiency, and revenue growth.
li>Present insights and actionable recommendations to leadership.
Process & System Support
Maintain and optimize CRM data accuracy (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
Contribute to automation of sales reporting and analytics workflows.
Assist with the implementation of tools for sales performance management.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in sales analysis, business analytics, or similar roles.
Experience in B2B, SaaS, FMCG, or retail (depending on business) is preferred.
Technical Skills
Strong Excel/Google Sheets capabilities (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas).
Proficiency in BI/analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or equivalent).
Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.).
Knowledge of SQL is a plus.

Salary : $40,000 - $60,000
