Job Summary (List Format): Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365/Power Platform/Azure Developer
- Serve as a senior developer for the Stronger Together Against Abuse and Neglect in DC (STAAND) system, a federally certified Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS).
- Design, develop, and maintain complex solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Azure services.
- Write complex code and custom APIs, including C#/.NET plug-ins for Dataverse.
- Lead and oversee CI/CD pipelines and Power Platform ALM, including environment management and managed deployments.
- Review and gate code quality as the merge authority on protected branches through pull request reviews.
- Manage production support, incident resolution, and release processes, ensuring SLAs are met.
- Collaborate directly with business users, including social workers, supervisors, partner agencies, and training staff to gather requirements and ensure solutions align with operational needs.
- Provide technical leadership to a development team, mentoring and guiding junior developers.
- Develop client-side extensions with TypeScript/JavaScript and Power Platform Component Framework (PCF) controls.
- Implement secure development practices, including code-level security reviews, secrets management, and handling of sensitive data (PII/PHI).
- Operate and support the live system through Microsoft’s regular release cycles and biannual updates.
- Author and execute automated testing strategies (unit, integration, UI regression) for Dynamics 365 solutions.
- Develop and manage Power Pages/portals, including configuration of web roles and table permissions.
- Utilize Azure DevOps for multi-stage pipeline automation and infrastructure-as-code (Bicep/Terraform).
- Ensure compliance with government cloud (GCC) delivery standards and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline.
- 10 years of progressive software development experience.
- 6 years of hands-on Dynamics 365/Power Platform development.
- 5 years of C#/.NET plug-in and API development.
- 4 years as a technical lead and in Azure DevOps pipeline automation.
- Microsoft PL-400 and AZ-400 certifications.
