Human Resources Manager

SHR Talent is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization in Pleasant Prairie, WI to hire an experienced HR Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on HR leader who enjoys working closely with both employees and leadership and can effectively manage a broad range of HR responsibilities within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day Human Resources operations and serve as a key HR partner to employees and leadership.
• Manage employee relations, performance management, coaching, and workplace issues.
• Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and retention initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
• Partner with leadership to promote accountability and consistency across the organization.
• Support workplace safety initiatives and OSHA compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, employee engagement, and overall workforce effectiveness.
• Provide guidance and support to managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

Qualifications

• 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including HR management experience.
• Fluency in Spanish required.
• Previous management experience required.
• Manufacturing experience strongly preferred; food manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of Wisconsin and Illinois employment laws.
• Strong understanding of HR compliance and hiring practices.
• Safety and OSHA experience.
• Strong communication, employee relations, and problem-solving skills.
• Confident and assertive leadership style with the ability to navigate challenging situations and hold others accountable.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
• Local candidates preferred.
