What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Specialist position at Showplace Cabinetry?
Marketing Specialist | Help Us Tell the Showplace Story
At Showplace Cabinetry, we're in the business of building great cabinets, but we're also in the business of building something bigger.
We're an employee-owned company, and that means our people have a stake in what we do, how we do it, and where we're headed. We're proud to make quality cabinetry in America, work with independent dealers across the country, and surround ourselves with people who care about doing things right.
Now we're looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our team.
This isn't a role where you'll sit on the sidelines. You'll be right in the middle of the action, keeping projects moving, working with dealers and sales representatives, coordinating vendors, managing marketing programs, proofreading materials, solving problems, and helping turn good ideas into great marketing.
A little bit of everything, which is exactly what makes this role interesting.
You'll help manage:
• Dealer co-op advertising programs and budgets
• Print production, literature, signage, promotional materials, and inventory
• Advertising and media coordination
• Our annual Showplace design contest, from entries and judging to awards and logistics
• Marketing projects from initial idea through completion
• Product information and marketing materials across multiple departments
• Vendors, timelines, quotes, specifications, deliveries, and reorders
• Proofreading and quality control to make sure the details are right
• Process improvements, new tools, technologies, campaigns, and special projects
You'll work with people throughout Showplace as well as dealers, sales reps, vendors, and marketing partners. You'll need to be comfortable juggling multiple projects, communicating with many different people, and knowing when a detail needs a second look.
You're organized. You're dependable. You're curious.
You notice when something doesn't look quite right. You can keep a spreadsheet organized, a project on schedule, and a conversation moving forward.
You don't mind asking questions when you don't know something—and you're excited to learn. You can work independently, but you also understand that the best marketing usually happens when good people work together.
We're looking for someone with:
• An associate's or bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field—or equivalent experience
• 2 years of marketing, communications, project coordination, program administration, or related experience
• Strong organizational, communication, proofreading, and attention-to-detail skills
• Solid mathematical and analytical abilities
• Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines
• Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel
• The ability to learn and navigate multiple software programs
Experience with print vendors, advertising/media, co-op programs, project management tools, manufacturing, distribution, dealers, or product-focused businesses is a plus.
Because here, you're not just filling a seat.
As an employee-owned company, you have a stake in our success. You'll work alongside people who take pride in what they make, how they serve our dealers, and how they represent the Showplace brand.
And you'll have the opportunity to bring your own strengths and ideas to the table.
If you're someone who likes making things happen, keeping the details straight, working with people, solving problems, and finding a better way to do things, we should talk.
Come build something with us.
