What does an Hotel Operations Agent do?
Your part-time position is still a part of the calm, capable hub for guest communications while keeping a watchful eye on the Fire CommandSuppression System. Your work helps the resort run smoothly—and keeps everyone safe. When the pace picks up-busy arrivals, quick questions, or an unexpected alert-you stay cool, communicate clearly, and keep everyone pointed in the right direction. By shift end, notes are clean, handoff is clear, and the next teammate can step in without missing a beat.

- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Strong customer service, problem-solving, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; excellent English communication
- Ability to work a rotating schedule (evenings, weekends, holidays, extended hours)
- Must be able to speak, read, write and communicate in English to adequately perform the duties of the job
Key responsibilities
- Monitor the Fire Command Center and respond to alarms using established emergency response protocols
- Report system issues, document incidents/checks, and coordinate with emergency services and internal teams when needed including implementation of emergency procedures, including evacuation protocols and lockdown
- Support guest and resident communications: inquiries, room availability, upgrades, billing questions, and special requests
- Use hotel property management and reservation systems for accurate bookings, changes, and cancellations
- Train/mentor new team members on safety, reservations, and service standards as assigned
