Position Overview
We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced ISL Home Supervisor to join our growing team! In this critical leadership role, you will oversee the daily operations of one of our residential homes, ensuring exceptional care, supporting staff, and maintaining a safe, positive environment for the individuals we support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and ethical guidance to staff members.
- Prepare required documentation, reports, and paperwork accurately in accordance with State Regulations and SMCS policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe home environment.
- Train and mentor staff to deliver high-quality, person-centered services, ensuring compliance with state regulations and agency standards.
- Motivate and supervise team members, assigning tasks and fostering a strong, collaborative team culture.
- Identify and address potential issues proactively, communicating effectively with supervisors.
- Ensure the implementation and monitoring of Individualized Support Plans (ISPs) and daily support activities.
- Work hands-on with staff and individuals in community activities, meal preparation, medication administration, hygiene, and other daily living supports.
- Manage transportation to medical appointments, day habilitation programs, and community outings.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and maintain flexible scheduling, including shift rotation as needed.
What We're Looking For
- 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or GED (required).
- Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check or obtain an exception letter.
