Shore United Bank is seeking a full-time Business Banking Relationship Manager to join our team. The Business Banking Relationship Manager (BBRM) is responsible for a variety of duties to meet the commercial needs of business customers. The position is responsible for developing relationships with current and prospective customers, to include but not limited to growing deposits, loans, treasury management and merchant services. The BBRM is responsible for actively searching for new business opportunities within the assigned market area. The BBRM will be a partner to all branches in their designated market. BBRMs will focus on generating business within the small business space with focus on growing the C&I portfolio.

Essential Functions Include
- Partner with branches in assigned market to grow loans, deposits, and Treasury Management/Merchant Services portfolio.
- Makes Business development calls to prospective new customers and to current customers to enhance the customer relationships and to promote the image of Shore Bancshares, including but not limited to participation in community & civic organizations and events.
- Travel within the local market area to meet with current and prospective customers.
- Establish internal and external COI’s to assist in promoting the image of Shore Bancshares, resulting in referrals.
- Manage all loan requests from initial discovery, through underwriting and to settlement.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of all customer service calls made and meetings held with present and prospective customers.
- Meets sales goals for all product lines as outlined for the position.
- Monitor individual sales performance on a regular basis and discuss performance with appropriate supervisor on a frequent basis.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the features and benefits of all bank commercial products.
- Provide direct service to commercial customers of the bank
- Assist customers in obtaining specialized services from other bank departments, as necessary.
- Promotes an environment and culture to support and improve sales and referral activities to meet overall Affiliate defined goals that correspond with the company goals.
- Abides by the current laws and organizations policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplace.
- Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the department as well as with other departments to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.
- Communicates with management and staff personnel to integrate goals and activities.
- Participates in required training sessions, including training for compliance with BSA/AML policies and procedures.

- Days of Work: Monday-Friday.
- High school diploma/GED equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent in banking experience
- Prior experience in a business development capacity
- Specialized deposit, merchant services, cash management and lending training preferred.
- Federal NMLS License required, or ability to get licensed following hire
- The pay range for this position is $67,700 to $145,000 annually.
- Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.
