Job Summary

Duties
- Assist in opening and closing the store, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately and efficiently
- Support management in supervising daily store operations, including inventory control, merchandising, and sales floor management
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Lead by example in cashiering duties, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) transactions to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Oversee stock replenishment, inventory management, and purchasing activities to maintain optimal product availability
- Train new team members on store policies, sales techniques, and customer service standards
- Manage shift schedules, delegate tasks, and supervise team members to ensure smooth store functioning
Skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities with previous supervisory or assistant manager experience
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual capabilities to serve diverse customers effectively
- Proficiency in retail sales techniques, merchandising, pricing strategies, and retail math for accurate inventory control
- Skilled in negotiation, conflict resolution, and employee orientation to motivate staff and enhance customer satisfaction
- Experience with inventory management systems, POS technology, cash handling procedures, and bookkeeping practices
- Knowledge of retail marketing strategies including promotional displays and wireless sales techniques
- Ability to multitask efficiently with excellent time management skills; adept at supervising multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Organizational skills with attention to detail in stock stocking, purchasing decisions, and store presentation
- Familiarity with administrative tasks such as payroll processing and budgeting to support store operations
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally in person or over the phone
