Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible and dynamic Key Holder to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in store operations, customer service, and team leadership. As a Key Holder, you will be entrusted with opening and closing the store, managing daily activities, and ensuring excellent customer experiences. Duties
- Open and close the store safely, ensuring all security procedures are followed
- Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Supervise staff during shifts, including training new employees and delegating tasks
- Handle cash register operations, including cashiering, POS transactions, and cash handling procedures
- Support sales initiatives through effective merchandising and promotional activities
- Monitor store cleanliness and organization to maintain a welcoming environment
- Assist with employee orientation, training & development, and scheduling
- Manage inventory control and purchasing to ensure stock levels meet demand
- Oversee store operations in the absence of management, ensuring smooth day-to-day functions
Experience
- Previous supervisory or assistant manager experience in retail or similar environment preferred
- Strong leadership skills with proven team management capabilities
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer service expertise
- Experience with retail math, sales management, pricing strategies, and inventory management systems (POS) preferred
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- Knowledge of merchandising, stock control, budgeting, marketing, and retail operations is advantageous
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks efficiently
