What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender and Server position at Shinglehouse Veteran's Social Club?
Tend bar in accordance with Pennsylvania state law in a manner that enhances members and guests overall experience. Hourly wage plus tips.
Job Summary (Essential Functions):
- Serves alcohol to members and guests of legal age.
- Greets members and oversees dining room events.
- Follows and enforces House Operating Rules.
- Must be able to complete and maintain PA Liquor Control Board (PLCB) Responsible Alcohol Management Program (RAMP) Server Certification for Server.
- Monitors appearance, upkeep and cleanliness of all food and beverage equipment and facilities.
- Follow dress and appearance codes according to policies and procedures.
- Completes other appropriate assignments as assigned by the SVSC Board President.
Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.
- Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.

Work Schedule and Hours:
Hourly wage plus tips.
The schedule includes day shifts and evening shifts to fit the business needs and opening times of the SVSC. Hours are determined by business levels. Weekends and holidays are required.
