Duties

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical, social/emotional, and cognitive abilities to determine their needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that address specific goals.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities and promote independence.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including other OT's, ST's, PT's and any other professional working with your client.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and continuation of care in the home environment.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition for patients returning home or moving to other care settings.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.

Skills
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following skills:

• Knowledge of pediatric development
• Knowledge of a variety of developmental disabilities
• Ability to work collaboratively with families
• A love for children and a playful energy
• Experience working with pediatric populations is a plus.
• Ability to manage cases effectively while collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

Pay: $45.00 - $80.00 per hour

License/Certification:

• Florida Occupational Therapy License (Preferred)
• Occupational Therapy Degree from an accredited University (Required)

Work Location: In person

Salary : $45 - $80
