Position Overview

SHINE Pediatric Therapy Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our growing team. This role includes evaluating children, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing evidence‑based interventions focused on functional independence, motor skills, sensory processing, executive functioning, regulation, and self‑care. You will partner closely with families to support carryover beyond the session and collaborate with OT, PT, and ST colleagues to deliver integrated care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pediatric evaluations using standardized and clinical tools
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable, functional goals
• Provide evidence‑based intervention addressing sensory processing, fine/gross motor skills, EF skills, self‑care, regulation, and participation
• Support children with Autism, ADHD, developmental delays, sensory processing differences, and other diverse needs
• Offer family education, home programming, and collaborative communication
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and case reviews
• Contribute to a warm, playful, strengths‑based clinic culture

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for helping children grow, learn, and thrive
• Current Florida OT licensure (or eligibility); NBCOT preferred
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
• Strong clinical skills in pediatric OT and early intervention
• Experience supporting diverse developmental needs
• Knowledge of sensory processing, executive functioning, and emotional regulation
• Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder and strengths‑based approaches
• Effective communication with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to strengths‑based, family‑centered, culturally responsive practice
• A fun, playful personality to engage children
