Job description
Sherwood Bedding, a national mattress manufacturer, is currently seeking a Sewing Supervisor for the second shift to join our team.
Responsibilities and Duties
Position responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Organize work flow to ensure all production schedules are completed in a timely manner and in the proper order.
- Ensure that the proper materials are being used and quality standards are met
- Develop and train personnel
- Participate in cycle counts and physical inventory as directed
- Ensure a safe work environment for all employees.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., frequent standing, walking, pulling, pushing, and stooping.
Qualifications and Skills
- Basic knowledge of sewing and quilting machines preferred
- Experience in manufacturing required
Salary : $22 - $24
