The Sewing Loft is a boutique drapery workroom specializing in custom window treatments, soft furnishings, cushions, pillows, and small to mid-size upholstery projects for residential clients and interior designers. We’re a small, close-knit team with a deep passion for our craft, and we’re excited to welcome a new teammate who will help keep our operations running smoothly.

DESCRIPTION
As our Project & Client Relationship Manager, you’ll be a central connector within the workroom and a trusted point of contact for our clients. You’ll guide projects from initial inquiry through final installation, ensuring every detail is handled with care. Your work directly supports our ability to deliver the high-quality craftsmanship and service we’re known for.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
✓ Guide residential clients through project decisions, including fabric and hardware selection, appointment scheduling, and answering project-related questions
✓ Develop and sustain strong relationships with interior designers and retail partners
✓ Oversee supply levels and ensure the workroom is stocked with materials needed for production
✓ Use digital tools to track timelines, maintain records, and communicate clearly with clients and teammates
✓ Support daily administrative needs such as answering calls, responding to emails, and placing vendor
orders
REQUIREMENTS
- 2 years of experience in managing projects and/or client-facing roles
- Proven success in a team setting or work environment
- Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to represent The Sewing Loft professionally to customers
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and ability to learn navigation through new software
