Key Responsibilities
- Lead plant-level financial reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Drive the annual budgeting process and monthly forecast updates
- Develop and maintain key financial and operational performance metrics
- Partner with corporate accounting on month-end close activities
- Maintain and analyze standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead
- Ensure accurate inventory valuation and monthly inventory reporting
- Oversee cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory adjustments
- Identify and implement cost-reduction and margin improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with plant leadership to support operational and strategic decision-making
- Support capital investment planning and ROI analysis
- Drive initiatives to improve asset utilization, productivity, and overall plant performance
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and internal control requirements
- Maintain ERP data integrity and support system enhancements
- Contribute to company-wide forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning
- Support senior leadership on financial and strategic initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including manufacturing cost accounting
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, manufacturing operations, and GAAP
- Advanced Excel skills
- ERP experience (JDE preferred)
- Strong analytical, communication, and business-partnering skills
- Experience in a high-growth manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated and progressive leadership experience
