Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the North America IT audit and assurance strategy, including a risk-based audit plan
- Maintain and enhance the North America IT audit universe to ensure comprehensive coverage of IT risks
- Plan and conduct IT audits across cybersecurity, infrastructure, applications, software development lifecycle, and emerging technologies including AI
- Draft clear, actionable IT audit reports with practical recommendations for management
- Partner with senior leaders and stakeholders to provide guidance on IT controls and risk mitigation
- Drive continuous improvement of IT audit methodology, tools, and processes
- Provide thought leadership on cybersecurity risk, IT general controls, and assurance over significant IT changes
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Accounting, or related field
- CISA certification required; CISSP, CRISC, or other IT audit/security certifications preferred
- 8 years of IT audit experience within internal audit departments of large organizations or in IT assurance at major accounting firms
- Strong knowledge of Internal Auditing Standards, PCAOB, SOX, COSO, and IT frameworks such as COBIT, NIST, ITIL
- Experience auditing technology infrastructure, applications, and systems; SAP experience a plus
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Experience in consumer-focused businesses preferred; Fortune 500 experience a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Visio, and electronic audit workpapers
