What are the responsibilities and job description for the Faculty – Instructor of Basic Sciences position at Sherman College of Chiropractic?
The Basic Sciences at Sherman College of Chiropractic is currently recruiting full-time faculty members in the areas of Biochemistry, General Anatomy, Human Physiology, Microbiology, Pathology, and Neuroanatomy at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor based on qualifications. Successful candidates will be expected to teach courses and participate in research, administrative activities, service activities, and professional interaction, as appropriate.
Adjunct positions for these disciplines are also available.
Qualifications
All full-time positions require a Ph.D. or M.D. degree. Applicants must show promise of excellence in teaching, value collegiality, and desire to contribute to the chiropractic profession.
For adjunct positions: Master’s degree or higher from an accredited academic institution in the appropriate discipline. Medical professional degree or other pertinent post-baccalaureate degree will also be considered.
