We are The Miami Valley Group, a Search and Recruiting Firm and we have been retained by one of our large clients in the Printing industry to go out and find a Machine Operator for their Bindery area at their Brainerd, MN facility to help them manufacture the books they are printing. In this role, you would be working in a clean, climate controlled environment and would part of a dynamic team helping to drive the achievement of company goals.
What you will be doing
- Operating a book bindery machine.
- Check logbook for any pertinent information.
- Set-up binder machine based upon job ticket information.
- Confirm that bound matter matches job ticket.
- Allocate tasks to crew members.
- Monitor an acceptable level of production based upon job requirements.
- Maintain an acceptable level of production based upon job requirements.
- Maintain equipment and repair/service as needed.
- Complete all applicable paperwork.
- Adhere to established Finishing Department equipment procedures.
- Demonstrate good housekeeping attitudes and practices.
Basic Qualifications:
- A minimum of a High School diploma or GED required.
- Proven organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Proven mechanical ability required.
