Sheppard Mullin’s Tier 1 rated practice on BestLawyers is currently searching for a mid-level Associate to join the Washington, D.C. office. The position will focus on technology, media and telecommunications, with special emphasis on satellite, wireless, and new technologies.

The Associate will counsel companies on all aspects of communications law and regulations. We also work closely with our M&A team at Sheppard Mullin in obtaining regulatory approvals associated with major corporate transactions. In this context, we also advise numerous clients on obtaining clearance from the CFIUS alongside the requisite FCC and state-level approvals that are needed to clear large M&A transactions.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have The Following Qualifications
The salary range for this position is $260,000 - $365,000.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have The Following Qualifications
- 3-5 years of telecommunications legal experience required, with satellite industry experience being a bonus.
- Experience with FCC systems required.
- CFIUS experience is a plus though not required.
- Must be a self-starter, able to work directly with clients, and ready to handle the ever-growing and changing legal matters in the telecom industry.
- Excellent writing skills are a must.
- Candidates must be admitted and in good standing with the D.C. bar.
The salary range for this position is $260,000 - $365,000.
