Candidate must have excellent organizational skills and competency to manage budgets, assess needs, update digital documentation and establish positive working relationships with students, families, staff and collaborative partners of varying backgrounds. Capacity to lift 10lbs, complete home visits and work some evening hours is required.
Position Details
Hours: 7.5 hours per day (plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
Contract Length: 240 days per year
Contract Adjustments: Contracted days will be prorated based on the start date
Employment Status: Full-time with benefits
Employment Type: 12-month employee on the classified pay schedule
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, Education, Health or related field is required.
- Must provide a copy of transcript to HR upon recommendation to hire.
- Masters Degree and three years of relevant experience is preferred.
2026-2027 Pay Scale
- Starting Pay (Step 0): $47,564 per year
- Experienced Pay (Step 5): $68,114 per year

- The hired applicant is responsible for submitting the BCPS Verification of Experience Form to prior employers for completion and return to HR.
