Seeking Family Resource Center Coordinator to serve families with children age birth through the 5th grade at Shepherdsville Elementary School. FRC Coordinator will collaborate with school staff and community agencies to implement FRYSC programming and all mandated components as approved by the State. Coordinator complies with applicable state and District requirements, collaborates with community agencies to meet the needs of families and students to reduce non-academic barriers of learning.  

 

Candidate must have excellent organizational skills and competency to manage budgets, assess needs, update digital documentation and establish positive working relationships with students, families, staff and collaborative partners of varying backgrounds. Capacity to lift 10lbs, complete home visits and work some evening hours is required. 

 

Position Details 

 

Hours: 7.5 hours per day (plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch)

Contract Length: 240 days per year 

Contract Adjustments: Contracted days will be prorated based on the start date

Employment Status: Full-time with benefits

Employment Type: 12-month employee on the classified pay schedule

 

 

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, Education, Health or related field is required.  
  • Must provide a copy of transcript to HR upon recommendation to hire.
  • Masters Degree and three years of relevant experience is preferred. 

2026-2027 Pay Scale 

  • Starting Pay (Step 0): $47,564 per year 
  • Experienced Pay (Step 5): $68,114 per year

New hires may bring up to 5 years of comparable, full-time, verified experience.

  • The hired applicant is responsible for submitting the BCPS Verification of Experience Form to prior employers for completion and return to HR.

 

Salary Formula: Hours per day × Hourly rate = Daily rate <> Daily rate × Contracted days = Annual salary. <> Annual salary ÷ Remaining pay periods = Gross biweekly pay
