What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Principal - Shepherdsville Elementary 2026-2027 position at Shepherdsville Elementary School?
SES is seeking applicants who will provide instructional leadership to our talented and mission driven staff and lead the on-going growth of student achievement. Successful candidates will support the building level principal by:
* Collaborating with school leaders on instructional decisions
* Monitoring the progress of at risk student groups
* Assisting with implementing an innovative program for behavior interventions
* Analyzing school data and work with collaborative groups to make plans for next steps within the PLC process
* assisting with the development and monitoring of MTSS and trama informed practices
We are searching for candidates with:
* A minimum of 5 years classroom experience
* Successful experience in leadership positions such as instructional support or administrative roles
* Instructional Leadership Certification
* Experience with MTSS practices
* Involvement with continuous improvement systems and processes
This position is for the 2026-2027 school year. Salary based on board approved salary schedule for the 2026-2027 school year.
