What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Applications Trainer/Specialist position at Shenandoah Medical Center?
1. Coordinate training and support for clinical systems
- Develop and deliver training programs for clinical applications and EMR systems
- Provide onboarding and ongoing education for staff and providers
- Customize training materials and workflows based on department needs
2. Serve as liaison between clinical staff and IT
- Communicate system issues, enhancements, and workflow needs
- Corridinate with vendors and IT team to resolve issues
- Provide first-line support for clinical application issues
3. Support system maintenance and optimization
- Assist with system upgrades, testing, and implementations
- Maintain and update templates, workflow, and configurations
- Ensure System align with clinical regulatory requirements
4. Provide troubleshooting and user support
- Troubleshoot EMR and clinical system issues
- Assist users with login, access, and workflow- related problems
- Escalate complex issues to IT support teams as needed
5. Maintain Knowledge and compliance
- Stay current on healthcare regulations, documentation standards, and system updates
- Support compliance with HIPAA and date security reequipments
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
6. Analyze workflows and improve processes
- Evaluate system usage and identify inefficiencies
- Recommend and implement workflow improvements
- Support data-driven decision making
7. Preform other duties as assigned
