Duties
- Operate commercial sprayers and related farm machinery safely and efficiently across different terrains and settings
- Prepare and calibrate spraying equipment to ensure accurate application rates and coverage
- Apply fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and other treatments according to specified guidelines and safety protocols
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of sprayers and hand tools to ensure optimal performance
- Follow all safety procedures and environmental regulations during application processes
- Assist with land preparation, landscaping tasks, or farming activities as needed using power tools and hand tools
- Maintain detailed records of treatments applied, equipment usage, and site conditions for reporting purposes
Requirements
- Proven experience with sales of agricultural or landscaping products is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of pest control methods, lawn care practices, farming techniques, or land management is highly desirable
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and driving vehicles safely and responsibly
- Familiarity with the use of spray equipment and calibration techniques
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to chemical handling and environmental protection
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods
