Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Care Representative to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service with a smile while managing administrative tasks related to patient care. This role requires the capability to learn medical office operations, Durable Medical Equipment (DME) fitting of patients, familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems, and a willingness to understand healthcare documentation and billing processes. Bilingual abilities and clinic experience are highly valued to ensure effective communication and support across diverse patient populations.
Duties
- Greet patients in person and via multi-line phone systems, ensuring professional phone etiquette and courteous service.
- Help with all in store transactions both retail and insurance paid.
- Fit all patients and fill out appropriate paperwork as needed (trained by our team).
- Verify, update and manage basic information using EMR systems such as EPIC and similar platforms.
- Assist with basic documentation review and updates ensuring accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Manage front desk operations including filing, data entry (10 key typing), and maintaining organized records.
- Support administrative functions such as office management tasks, appointment reminders, and patient follow-up communications.

- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to handle sensitive information in compliance with HIPAA regulations while maintaining confidentiality.
- Office or clerical experience within a healthcare setting.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
