As part of our Building Services team, you’ll:
- Keep County buildings clean and well-maintained through daily tasks like sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
- Sanitize restrooms, clinical areas, and high-touch surfaces
- Maintain floors and carpets using specialized equipment
- Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables
- Restock cleaning supplies and keep storage areas organized
- Perform periodic deep cleaning (vents, baseboards, stairwells, and more)
- Help ensure facilities are secure by opening/closing buildings as assigned
- Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns
- Support team operations across different buildings as needed
We’re looking for someone who:
- Takes pride in maintaining clean, safe environments
- Is dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Can safely use cleaning equipment and follow established procedures
- Pays attention to detail and notices what needs to be done
- Communicates well and works collaboratively with others
- Is flexible and willing to support different locations or assignments
- Follows safety practices, including proper use of cleaning products and PPE
- Typically a second shift position
- Work is primarily indoors within County facilities
- Involves physical activity such as standing, walking, lifting, bending, and repetitive motion
- Exposure to cleaning agents, dust, and occasional biohazard materials (with proper safety protocols in place)
