Provide administrative support for 3PL operations departments.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Processes customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and/or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shipped.
- Records amounts of materials and/or items received / distributed via appropriate computer program.
- Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times; coordinates with appropriate department personnel for order requests.
- Responsible for making arrangements for pick-up by the carrier specified on the customer's purchase request.
- Provides various client-specific or various departmental process requirements, such as inspections, cycle counts, warehouse management system updates / configurations, etc.
- Any additional task or activity as requested or assigned by management.

- Ability to acquire TSA certification (required depending on location).
- Ability to be courteous; ability to establish and maintain effective relationship with both customers and associates.
- Effective time management skills.
- Self-starter/self-motivated; ability to work with minimal direct supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up.
- High school diploma or GED; mechanical training desirable.
- Six (6) months to one (1) year applicable experience or the equivalent experience and education.
- Prior forklift experience desirable depending on location/department.
- Must have good command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to learn new systems and programs.
- Sitting, up to three (3) hours per day; standing and/or walking eight (8) hours or more per day.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to bend, reach and move about the facility.
- Appropriate safety gear must be worn as needed.
- Warehouse and/or office environment depending on location.
- Limited travel (between locations when necessary).
