Parts Driver - Shearer

Shearer Automotive is looking for a reliable Parts Driver to support our dealership parts departments. This role is responsible for picking up, receiving, and delivering parts and equipment between our dealerships, customers, wholesale accounts, vendors, and repair facilities.

This is a great fit for someone who is dependable, organized, comfortable driving throughout the day, and enjoys being part of a busy dealership team.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• Approximately 32 hours per week
• Start time around 7:30 AM
• Consistent daytime schedule
• In person role

What You Will Do

• Pick up and deliver parts and equipment to customers, vendors, wholesale accounts, and dealership locations
• Coordinate with the Parts Manager, wholesale team, inventory staff, parts counter staff, and shipping/receiving before leaving for deliveries
• Verify that invoices match the parts being loaded and delivered
• Collect payments when required and confirm they match the invoice
• Keep an accurate daily log of deliveries and pickups
• Obtain recipient signatures for deliveries
• Unload the delivery vehicle at the end of each day and turn in paperwork and undelivered parts
• Help keep the delivery vehicle clean, fueled, and properly maintained
• Notify the Parts Manager of any needed vehicle repairs or maintenance
• Assist with stocking and posting parts orders when they arrive
• Support the service department with vehicle drop-off and pickup needs as assigned
• Drive safely and courteously, representing the dealership professionally on the road
• Perform other related duties as assigned

What We Are Looking For

• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Dependable, punctual, and organized
• Able to lift and move automotive parts as needed
• Comfortable interacting with customers, vendors, and dealership staff
• Attention to detail with invoices, parts, payments, and delivery logs
• Prior automotive parts experience is helpful, but not required
