Automotive Service Technician

Shearer Volkswagen is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our busy Service Department.

What You Will Do

• Diagnose and repair customer vehicles accurately and efficiently
• Perform maintenance and mechanical repairs in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards
• Complete repair orders thoroughly and document work performed
• Communicate additional repair needs or concerns to the Service Advisor and management team
• Use dealership diagnostic equipment and service information systems
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Participate in manufacturer training and continued technical development
• Work as part of a team to maintain a high level of quality and customer satisfaction

What We Are Looking For

• 3 years of automotive repair experience preferred
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
• Self-motivated and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
• Dependable with strong attention to detail
• Commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work effectively as part of a busy Service Department
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Volkswagen or other manufacturer training is a plus
